The End Is Not The End

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis earlier this year. While I have been receiving treatment since the diagnosis, controlling the disease has proven to be challenging. So, after much prayer and counsel, Candace and I sincerely believe God has called us to step away from the church planting ministry of Voyager Church. It is our intention to enter into a season of rest from vocational ministry so that I can focus on managing my health. We’re confident that during this time He will provide healing and give us direction for the next chapter of our ministry.

As a result, our Leadership Team has decided to dissolve Voyager Church. While we are saddened that we have to make this choice, we rejoice in the fruit we have seen and believe in more to come.  Obedience to God is never in vain and we firmly believe there is much remaining work here in our city. In recent weeks we have formed a partnership with Revive City Church, a thriving multi-ethnic ministry doing incredible things in the heart of Cincinnati. Pastor Kirk Kirkland and his team have welcomed us with warm hearts and open arms. They plan to utilize the current location of Voyager Church and our physical resources in their mission to multiply more local churches across our city and would welcome your continued support of God’s work here. You can contact him here.

We sincerely want to thank each of you for the friendships and partnerships we have formed these past three years. Many of you have invested in our ministry financially, most of you have served alongside of us on mission trips, and each of you have faithfully prayed for us. It’s because of God’s provision through you that we were able to accomplish as much as we did through the ministry of Voyager Church. We ask that you continue to pray for us as we enter into this new season.

Grace and Peace,
